The well-known Dutch photographer Wil van de Leygraaf from the northern part of Holland has preserved the most part of his huge archive of pressphotos and photographs of monuments, buildings, events, people and local footballclubs.

The photographs are taken in Alkmaar and surrounding villages from 1953 to 1987.
